Education
The CCRD offers three "101" courses: Employment 101, Fair Housing 101, and Public Accommodations 101. These courses offer an overview of the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act (CADA) as applied to the relevant topic area. These classes are offered free of charge on a regular basis. - Employment 101
Employment 101 provides an introduction to Colorado's anti-discrimination laws as applied to places of employment, as well as an overview of CCRD's process, procedure, and jurisdiction. The class is approximately two hours long (including time for questions at the conclusion).

- Fair Housing 101
Our housing anti-discrimination class provides an introduction to Colorado's fair housing laws. The class focuses on protected classes and disability discrimination, including reasonable accommodations and modifications. This class also provides an overview of CCRD's process, procedure, and jurisdiction. This class lasts approximately two hours, it can go slightly over two hours if there are a lot of questions.

- Public Accommodations 101
Public Accommodations 101 provides an introduction to Colorado's anti-discrimination laws as applied to places of public accommodation, as well as an overview of CCRD's process, procedure, and jurisdiction. Topics of discussion include service animals in places of public accommodation and equal access to restrooms. This class lasts approximately one and a half hours, including time for questions, which are at the conclusion.

This webinar will cover rules and regulations as set forth within the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, with specific reference to discrimination based on Race/Color in the areas of Employment, Fair Housing, and Places of Public Accommodations.

This webinar will cover rules and regulations as set forth within the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, with specific reference to discrimination based on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Gender Expression in the areas of Employment, Fair Housing, and Places of Public Accommodations.

Outreach
In addition to its regular 101 class offerings, the CCRD engages in community outreach. Community outreach includes participation in community events and engaging with stakeholder organizations through round tables, informational presentations, and similar activities.

The Colorado Civil Rights Commission (CCRC) regularly holds meetings that include time set aside for public participation. Even if you do not want to participate, you are welcome to observe. View the CCRC Meeting Schedule.
